At Fairview Lifestyle Village, we believe that Christmas is more than just a holiday. It’s a time for coming together as a community and embracing the warmth and fun that makes our village truly unique.
What can you expect? An uplifting, festive atmosphere for starters! Staff and residents have been invited to decorate their lodge doors, work vehicles (golf carts), and villa mailboxes. A winner will be chosen for each of the best-decorated doors and mailboxes.
Our village choir performs carols on the 15th of December and there are complimentary mince pies.
In the spirit of giving, one of our residents does a collection of food supplies for the Salvation Army. But that’s not all! We will be delivering Christmas presents, door to door, to residents.
And on the actual day itself, no one has to feel alone. We are hosting a special lunch on Christmas day – Santa’s lunch with his elves!
However, it’s not just about the activities.

We understand that the true spirit of Christmas lies in connecting with others, particularly for those who may feel lonely. At Fairview, fostering a sense of togetherness is our strength, and Christmas is the perfect time to showcase it.

Retirement, children moving away, and the loss of loved ones can intensify these feelings, especially during Christmas. That’s why we prioritise bringing people together over this time.

Social relationships have been proven to significantly contribute to longevity, with a potential impact of up to 50%.
